ABRF sPRG 2006 Study Data Collection

ProteomeCommons.org was used as the data collection website for the ABRF sPRG study. This was the first project that used an early version of Tranche to upload and archive participant's data on-line. The upload process was designed to keep complete anonymity. Users would visit a web page with upload instructions and they could then either upload data using a Java tool or through their web browser. The website also included an anonymous forum where a FAQ was kept to answer questions.

The ABRF sPRG study data collection was a success and over twenty of the participating labs uploaded data. The data is currently encrypted and the passphrase required to decrypt the data will be published in early 2007 along with ABRF's manuscript describing the data. The website for data submission is no longer on-line because the study has concluded; however, screenshots may be found below.

The entire data collection page for the 2006 ABRF sPRG study was designed and implemented by Jayson Falkner and Phil Andrews. The website and on-line storage space were sponsored by Phil Andrew's lab and ProteomeCommons.org. The ABRF sPRG committee is responsible for organizing the sPRG study, and the committee members are listed below.
