ABRF sPRG 2007 Study Data Collection

After the success of the 2006 study and the positive feedback from the proteomics community it was requested that Tranche also be used for the ABRF sPRG 2007 study. The 2007 study is a good example of one of the first projects to use the current Tranche tools. Users would visit a website on ProteomeCommons.org that provided upload instructions and a link to a customized version of the Tranche Uploader tool. The tool required nothing more than the users participant ID and the files they wished to upload. Files were then stored across the ProteomeCommons.org Tranche network in an encrypted form.

The ABRF sPRG 2007 study data collection is currently still underway and will conclude later in 2007.

The entire data collection page for the 2007 ABRF sPRG study was designed and implemented by Jayson Falkner and Phil Andrews. The website and on-line storage space were sponsored by Phil Andrew's lab and others participating in the Tranche network. The ABRF sPRG committee is responsible for organizing the sPRG study, and the committee members are listed below.
