TheGPM.org website is an open-source proteomics website sponsored by Beavis Informatics that is most widely known for the X!Tandem, TheGPM, GPMDB, and X!Hunter tools. TheGPM.org website has produced many data sets and allows users of TheGPM.org's tools to optionally submit their data for public access. TheGPM.org readily disseminates this data to interested parties, but does not provide a general public mirror for the data. Tranche provides a live public mirror of all of this data.
Every night TheGPM.org submits new data to ProteomeCommons.org and directly into Tranche. Every month ProteomeCommons.org updates the data page for TheGPM data allowing the proteomics community to more easily access the data.
