The Vanderbilt Medical Center has several data sets hosted on Tranche and they are documented at this custom website hosted by the Vanderbilt Medical Center. This is a great example use of Tranche because the Vanderbilt website was constructed with little to no interaction from the Tranche developers. The Tranche user documentation describes how to create hyperlinks to data in Tranche and the Medical Center group at Vanderbilt have Tranche keys to upload data in to the ProteomeCommons.org network.
If you are citing the Vanderbilt Medical Center's Data sets in Tranche, please use the following citation information.
Here is a screen shot of a the Vanderbilt page. This might be slightly out of date, but it provides a nice illustration of the work. Note that users of the website likely don't even know that they are using Tranche until the links are clicked on. That is great! Tranche is intended to seamlessly simplify the tedious aspects of sharing large scientific data sets on-line. That is exactly how the Vanderbilt Medical Center is using Tranche.
